Brian Graff

Certified Active Release Technique (ART) Provider & Licensed Massage Therapist 

 

Brian earned his massage therapist certification as valedictorian of his class, is National Board Certified, and inducted into Alpha Beta Kappa National Society. He joined the Adkins Chiropractic team in September 2011.

Brian is a Certified ART provider and has treated athletes at the Ironman World Championships. He has also provided care to local marathons for competing athletes. Brian also educates youth in soft tissue techniques and chiropractic care by volunteering at SAVE High School.

 

Brian’s current ART certifications include full body and long track nerve entrapment. He works in the treatment rooms performing ART as well as assisting Dr. Adkins in the care and treatment of injured patients.

Karin Swanson
Licensed Massage Therapist 

 

After spending many years as an athlete and a coach, Karin understands what an injury or pain can do to a person. Graduating in 2020 at the top of her class at Alaska Career College from their Therapeutic Massage Program, she focused on modalities in sports injury and rehabilitation.

Currently, Karin is completing her certifications in Clinical Rehabilitative Massage and Cranial Sacral Massage. When she is not working and continuing her education, you will find her with her twin daughters and husband on the ski slopes or backcountry fishing.

Josh Morehouse
Licensed Massage Therapist

Josh Morehouse has been a licensed massage therapist since 2012 after graduating from Alaska Career College in Anchorage, AK. He also holds a National Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. 

 

Josh uses a wide range of massage modalities to provide bodywork focused on pain relief, rehabilitation, and recovery from injury. He believes that massage is a valuable therapy that may optimize well-being, prevent illness and promote healing. Outside of work he can be found exploring everything Alaska has to offer.

Kamuela Williams
Chiropractic Assistant/Back Office Manager

 

Kamuela (Kamu) Williams is a Chiropractic Assistant, Back Office Manager and patient advocate. She works closely with Dr. Adkins assisting him with patient care in the exam and treatment rooms as well as handling day to day office tasks. Kamu has been in Alaska her whole life and graduated from Eagle River High School. She has a Bachelors of Health Science with a minor in Nutrition from the University of Alaska Anchorage. On her days off, she enjoys spending time exercising, hiking and exploring Alaska with her husband and children. 

Kelsey Davis
Billing Specialist

Kelsey, a Certified Medical Coder through AAPC, joined our team in June of 2021. She was born and raised in Anchorage, AK. Traveling with her parents throughout high school, she graduated from Cyberlynx Correspondence in 2010. Kelsey, who has always been interested in health sciences, attended UAA before moving to NY where she has been involved in volunteer construction since 2015. She loves traveling and has been to every continent except Antarctica. Her other hobbies include running, rock climbing, anything outside, and cooking. 

Adelina Shabanoski
Front Desk Receptionist

 

Adelina (Lina) joined our team in July of 2021. She is one of our smiling faces at the front desk and loves to be able to interact with our patients. She was born and raised in Anchorage, AK and graduated from West High School. Outside of work you can find her on a tennis court or traveling the world. 

Mariell Cerdena
Front Desk Receptionist

 

Mariell, one of our energetic front desk receptionists, joined our team in August of 2021. She was born in the Philippines, but grew up in Anchorage, AK. Mariell graduated from Dimond High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Administration. When she is not assisting patients in the office, you can find her at the gym, outside with Bucky her dog, or spending time with friends and family. Mariell and Lina have been coworkers for five years and are here to create the best possible experience for Adkins Chiropractic patients.
